Matt Chicklo

ATTORNEY

Matt grew up in Alaska and graduated from South Anchorage high school. After high school, Matt worked as an intern for United States senator Ted Stevens in Washington DC.  Matt then attended the University of San Diego for his undergraduate studies where he graduated with honors and was the President of the Political Science Honor Society.  He continued his education at the University of San Diego School of Law.   Following law school, Matt returned to Alaska to begin his career as an attorney.  

Matt has been practicing family in law in Alaska for over ten years.  He knew he wanted to practice family law from the beginning of his career.  Matt is dedicated to helping his clients navigate through some of the most challenging times of their lives.  He prides himself on always doing what is best for his clients.  

Matt has also worked for the Alaska Court System as the head of the Early Resolution Program, a court sponsored mediation program for family law cases.  There, he received extensive training in family law mediation and valuable knowledge of both sides of our Alaska Court System.  

When Matt is not in the office, he enjoys playing the drums, riding his bicycle, and hiking with his labradoodle, Rocky.
